Hello Loves!
As 2017 is half way done, I wanted to share some of my favorite 2017 trends that every fashionista needs in his/her closet.
Bright Colors (Yellow, Pink, Blue, Orange)
Bright colors engages positive feelings that are contagious, and 2017 has been swarmed with these beautiful vibrant colors all thanks to the runway cues. Unlike previous seasons where we looked to accessories to add a ‘pop’ of color, for 2017 it’s about a full immersion.
Stripes
I’m sure we all agree that stripes are always in style, but on the Spring 2017 runways, they took on a whole new personality. From bulky color blocked designs to a reimagining of classic pinstripes, stripes have gotten an extreme makeover.
Ruffles
Ruffles are the pickles of clothing — you either love them or can’t stand them. There is no casual acceptance of ruffles; people do not feel lukewarm about them. But despite this polarization, ruffles are everywhere, adorning many off-the-shoulder necklines; covering hemlines, sleeves, and even pant legs.
Cold Shoulders
Whether it’s a flash of the waist, a hint of the shoulder, or a cut-out at the elbow, the spring/summer drops are all about elegant, peek-a-boo details. It’s the season for subtle flaunting! This trend offers the opportunity to discreetly expose your favorite body part. Plus, as the warmer weather approaches, a little extra ventilation is always welcome.
Bell Sleeves
Designers have taken a strong hold of the bell-sleeve silhouette and they are not letting go anytime soon. It’s a new take on a going-out top: fun, dramatic, and perfect for making a fashion statement.
Though there are slight variations in structure and style, we love them all equally—this new top silhouette is sure to instantly kick up the coolness factor of your fall wardrobe.
Loafers
From jeans to skirts to tailored pants, there are more than a few ways to wear this classic shoe. Loafers have taken street style by storm and are frequently spotted on bloggers, It models, and actresses while they’re out and about. Better yet? This fancy-yet-comfy footwear option — which was pretty popular last year — will continue to be in style demand, so it’s worth investing in a quality pair ASAP.
Thank you for reading! Have a Fabulous Day!
Lots of Love,
