Hello Loves!

Skincare is an important part of my daily routine since I tend to breakout easily and as a fashion blogger, a goal of mine is to always look fresh in all the photos I take. My skin is very sensitive, which is why I like to keep my skincare routine simple and natural. These past few weeks my skin has been feeling fresh and glowy due to Mary Kay’s natural-certified skincare line, Mary Kay Naturally™. The skincare line consists of four products: Mary Kay Naturally™ Purifying Cleanser, Moisturizing Stick, Exfoliating Powder, and Nourishing Oil. These products work so well on my sensitive skin, which is why I can’t wait to jump into the nitty gritty of why I love each product!

Mary Kay Naturally™ Purifying Cleanser is infused with skin-soothing cornflower floral water and sweet almond oil. The cleanser removes impurities and leaves my skin feeling nourished and soothed. For best results, I use the product with a cotton pad on damp skin.

Mary Kay Naturally™ Moisturizing Stick is made with candelilla wax and beeswax, which helps relieve my dry spots, especially with the changing seasons. The stick is suitable for face and body, however, if you plan to use the stick in multiple areas, I recommend having a separate stick dedicated to each area.

Mary Kay Naturally™ Exfoliating Powder gently exfoliates the skin by lifting away complexion-dulling dead skin cells. I use this product at least once a week!

Mary Kay Naturally™ Nourishing Oil leaves my skin feeling hydrated and contains a blend of sweet almond, olive and sesame oils. I apply this all over, including on the face, cuticles, elbows, even ends of my hair. This multiple purpose nourishing oil is a favorite!

At least 90% of ingredients in the collection are derived from natural sources, processed in accordance with the COSMOS standard, and all products are free of parabens, phthalates, synthetic fragrance, synthetic dyes, SLS/SLES. All of these products are available for purchase on MaryKay.com, where you can connect with a local Independent Beauty Consultant.

Here are 3 of my own personal skincare tips to avoid a facial breakout:

  1. Don’t touch your face. There was a point where I touched my face all the time a few months back and that caused a huge breakout that took weeks to heal from. Since we use our hands often, they collect dirt, oils, and germs that can cause major breakouts if placed on the face.
  2. Use warm water to cleanse the face before and after the cleanser step (this will open your pores to wash out the dirt and oil), however, before putting on moisturizer, wash your face once more with cold water to close your pores. This will help tighten your pores before putting on moisturizer.
  3. Eat healthier meals. I have noticed a difference in my skin when I started to make healthier choices with my meals. This doesn’t mean you can’t have a burger and fries once in a while, but to give your body the nutrients it needs to help sustain a healthy glow.

Now that I’ve shared how amazing each product is, I thought I’d give a little back story about Mary Kay and why I support this company. Mary Kay is a brand with purpose, built by women for women. I’m all for women empowerment and knowing that Mary Kay is always looking for ways to help women be the best version of themselves is truly amazing.

Thank you so much for reading today’s post! I hope Mary Kay can help you build your confidence in your own skin like it has done for me. Have a wonderful day!

love, gaonou
