Today, I am giving my favorite summer dress one last hurrah before Fall Fashion swoops in! For all my girly gals out there, this is your kind of dress! I love the color — it screams The Glamour Pursuit and what is there not to love about a flirty mini dress with the perfect puffy sleeves and square neck-line, am I right?!
I will admit that being 5’1″, this dress is on the shorter side, however, I still love wearing it especially since shorter dresses elongate my short legs. The material is light weight, which is perfect for those hot summer days. I love how simple this dress is. You don’t need much to make it stand out! Also, it is versatile where you can dress it down with a pair of dad sneakers. This is the perfect picnic in the park kind of dress to give that frenchy vibe. This dress is definitely “The Glamour Pursuit” approved!
Thank you so much for reading today’s short post! Have a wonderful day!
Happy Friday! Today I’m chit-chatting all about my favorite neutral bodysuit for that perfect parisian-inspired look. What I love about this neutral bodysuit is how light and soft the material is. Wear it by itself for a warm weather look or layer it up for a cozy feel, this is where the high-neck comes in handy.
Neutral hues take no effort to style because it is a safe choice. There is something luxurious about throwing together shades of cream, ivory, and beige. This neutral bodysuit is a timeless piece that can be worn throughout all seasons, especially during those uncertain style moments. I am always striving to look effortless, which is the core of a neutral wardrobe.
It wouldn’t be a parisian-inspired look without a beret, am I right? Such a classic accessory! Also, I had to add a few luxe details with a classic designer handbag and my favorite magazine — Vogue! To keep the outfit casual, I paired the neutral tones with my favorite high-waisted mom jeans and kept a feminine touch with the pink block heels. This entire outfit is pretty inexpensive and stylish all at once!
Thank you so much for reading. I hoped this inspired your next Parisian look! Have a wonderful weekend!
Happy Monday! I’m starting off the work week with my favorite work outfit at the moment. It consists of my favorite colors AND a style trend I’ve been obsessed with lately!
Puffy sleeves is a style trend that isn’t going anywhere. I love the strong, feminine structure the sleeves project around the shoulder areas. It’s the perfect way to live out your princess, fashion dreams in a more modern way. Also how cute is the tan and pink color combo?! I mean I’m obsessed! By now, I’m sure that it’s pretty obvious that I love a neutral, feminine look for everything I wear. The top is currently on sale so make sure to grab one before it’s all sold out!
Thanks for reading loves! Have a wonderful start of the week!
A subtle metallic style piece is one of my favorite ways to slightly spruce up an everyday work outfit. It gives that shimmer without being too much in your face. I thrifted this light pink metallic top from thredUP. The original price was $24.00 and I bought it for $11.99. I love the pink with the cream dress pants because it’s a classy color combo that won’t have HR chasing you down the hall. Also, the sleeves are skin tight, which kind of feels like spanx for the arms!
My number one rule for wearing metallics is to not let it overpower the work outfit. Even though you may want to have it be the star of the show, sometimes it can come off as tacky. It should be a fun add-on, not a screaming piece that takes the attention away from the entire outfit.
It is often a struggle trying to figure out a style outfit for work. One that will always be in your favor is a pant suit! The two-piece matching set continues to be a thriving trend from corporate to street style outfits. What I love about pant suits are the different forms and functions it comes in. You can wear it with a more masculine taste with the shoulder pads or add a feminine touch to it with fun floral prints. Pant suits are being redesign to cater to fashionistas who love wearing shorts or skirts over pants.
I thrifted this Ann Taylor pant suit for $20! If you want to hop on the pant suit trend wagon without paying over $100, definitely check out your local thrift store. You may be surprise on the style finds you’ll score.
For this look I wanted to add a feminine touch, which I did so by adding a beret and colors like red and pink. I love mixing different style elements to create an outfit story of my own. Pant suits can be styled in both a professional and casual way. I went with a more professional route adding a bow-tie blouse and heels. If you are more of a casual gal, a white t-shirt and sneakers would definitely be just as cute!
